We are here as a support system to studio programs and training.

    All of our courses are taught with the three cognitive learning styles: visual, auditory and kinesthetic; giving dancers the ability to comprehend information in a way that is best for them.

    Parent Courses are tailored to the needs of each studio. Courses on mindset, praise, supporting teachers, supporting teammates are just some of the areas we focus on. The intention being that the culture you envision for your studio is represented by all members.

    Regardless of where a dancer is in their dance journey, beginner to advanced, no matter how talented and hardworking they may be, there is always an area of opportunity to elevate their dance experience and reach their full potential.

Courses

The dance world can sometimes be hard to navigate as often it is subjective and your dancer may be met with adversity. Whether your dancer dreams of dancing professionally or wants to only continue their training through grade school, the opportunity for character building is the same.

Our courses hope to assist you in navigating some of the experiences that parents are often met with in a dance environment.

Here are a couple of examples of courses we offer:

Placement At The Studio

If your dancer is disappointed about their placement in their studio, we give tips on how to reframe that conversation. While they may see it as a failure, you can help steer that view to an opportunity for growth instead of disappointment. A focus in nurturing the relationship and trust between student and teacher allows both parties to recognize their common goal: Growth as a dancer, teammate and person.

How to Support Your Dancer

Learn how to be a nurturing support system for your dancer, as well as how to give space for the teacher to implement constructive criticism. Even when facing “failure,” this course teaches how to focus on the growth made and celebrating that.

How to Support Your Dancer

Choreography Season

This module covers supporting your dancer by giving them better practice habits so they can put their best foot forward when learning new choreography. It also goes over the importance of supporting the teacher’s choreography so their dancer is proud and excited by their new pieces.

Pre/Post Competition

Included in this module is insight on how can parents can support their dancer before they perform, how they can respond to their dancer when they feel stress before a competition, and how to support their dancer if they feel defeated after a competition.
